SMK Telkom Purwokerto is a technology-focused vocational school committed to shaping digital talent with global character. Two study programs with four concentrations, designed around what the digital industry needs today.

Software and Game Development

In this program, students learn to make software and games, from shaping the idea and writing the code to testing the result.

Concentrations

Software Engineering (RPL)

Students learn programming logic, then use it to build web and mobile apps along with the databases behind them.

Web DevelopmentBuilding complete websites: the part users see and the server side that keeps the data, using React and Laravel.
Mobile ApplicationsBuilding apps for Android phones, from laying out the screens to installing them on a phone to try.

Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ)

Students practise installing networks, configuring servers and keeping networks secure on Cisco and MikroTik equipment.

Network Installation & ConfigurationPlanning a network layout, then installing and configuring routers, switches and access points.
Server AdministrationSetting up server services such as DNS, DHCP and web servers.

Career paths

Network Engineer, System Administrator, Security Analyst, Cloud Support Engineer.

Telecommunication Access Network Engineering (TJAT)

Students practise splicing and testing fibre, installing FTTH networks, and working safely at height.

Fibre OpticsSplicing, testing and repairing fibre-optic cable with the tools technicians use.
FTTH Access NetworksInstalling a fibre network from the provider's equipment (OLT) to the modem in a customer's home.

Career paths

Fibre Optic Technician, Telecom Field Engineer, FTTH Installer, Transmission Engineer.
